1. Apply a module

Select a path and apply a module. In this example, we apply FLOW.

2. Flow has been added.

Notice that a set of “Drivers” has been added as well.

💠 FLOW already knows how to make your path flow, but it doesn’t know when, how much or how fast to do it.

That’s why we connect FLOW to a driver.

⏱️ Drivers carry out the animation signal, pushing modules to change over time

Newly applied modules connect to drivers automatically. As you can see in the image, FLOW is receiving its ⏱️ Animation Signal from Driver 1

3. Press play!

Our original shape now flows according to its own shape.

4. Tweak!

Remember:

Our shape after Flow. Points flow across the curvature of the shape. Not that this example is using a slightly tweaked preset of flow.

💠 The logic of the flow is controlled by the FLOW module. Tweaking its properties in the effects panel affects the way the final result looks

⚡ How fast the path flows is controlled by Driver 1 which drives the module. Tweaking its properties in the effects panel will change the duration and longevity of the animation.

⚡ Drivers create animation juice.

🔌 💠 Modules create great designs. Together, they create a great design over time!
