With Skew, I worked hard to make navigation just as easy as the real timeline, building a familiar experience for you to enjoy.

Panning

To pan the Skew Timeline, you can either:

Scrolling

In addition to panning, you can also use your mouse-wheel to scroll up and down. You can also use your mouse-wheel while holding down shift to scroll left and right.

Zoom in / out

To zoom in and out of the Skew Timeline, hold Alt and scroll with your mouse wheel.

Zoom to selection

🔥 Fire Feature

With items selected, you can hit Z on the keyboard to quickly pan and zoom to it.

Occupy a time chunk

🔥 Fire Feature

You can use Numpad / number keys to zoom into a specific time range. For example: Hit 3 on your keyboard and Skew will zoom in / out to show you exactly 3 seconds worth of time.

How is this useful? This is great when you know how long you want your animation to take. If your animation will be around 1 second, you can hit 1 on the keyboard to get exactly that field of view.
